The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently announced the schedule of its upcoming home season of the men’s side. The entire home season includes just one Test series, which also headlines the schedule, as it is going to be the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2027, for which a touring Australian team will be facing the Shubman Gill-led side for five matches, starting in late January.

The first Test of the highly anticipated series between India and Australia will be played at Nagpur’s Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha, while the historic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will be hosting the second fixture. However, the next three games will be played at Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad.

Chinnaswamy Stadium instead of the allotted host cities.
