Amid the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, ace cricketer Virat Kohli was recently snapped meeting the family of his Team India colleague Rinku Singh. Virat met Rinku’s sister Neha Singh and mother Vina Devi. The picture seems to be taken ahead of the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders, set to be played on Wednesday, May 13, in Raipur.
Meeting the superstar cricketer and a global icon of the sport seemed to be a heartwarming feeling for Rinku’s sister, Neha, who shared the pictures from their get-together. She posted a photo dump of her posing alongside Virat, while the third slide in the dump showed mother, Vina, standing with the legendary cricketer.

Speaking of Rinku’s personal life, the cricketer and his family were handed a severe blow as his father Khanchand Singh lost his life after a prolonged battle with a chronic disease. Rinku had to leave the Indian team midway during the T20 World Cup 2026 to perform the last rites of his father before returning to the team and lifting the trophy at the global tournament.
He is currently the vice-captain of KKR, who are having a decent season thus far. After a poor start to the campaign, KKR have come back on track and are a serious contender for the top four on the IPL 2026 points table. Rinku, meanwhile, has already played a few handy knocks to help the franchise make a comeback in the tournament. His fielding this season has also been equally exceptional.
Virat, on the other hand, is dominating the season; it has become a walk in the park for him. The New Delhi-born player is the leading run-getter for RCB in 2026 with 379 runs at an average of 42.11 after 11 innings. However, his last couple of games witnessed the icon batter get out for consecutive ducks. He will be looking to break the shackles against KKR and show his class once again.
The defending champions will be facing the Kolkata-based franchise at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on Wednesday, which is slated to be a night fixture. The Rajat Patidar-led side is second on the leaderboard, while Ajinkya Rahane & Co. are down at eighth position, but not out yet, as they still can make it to the playoffs with wins in their four remaining matches.
