Veteran India batter Virat Kohli came back to India following his son Akaay’s birth in London. On February 21, Kohli announced the birth of their second child. In a social media post, he announced that his wife Anushka Sharma gave birth to a baby boy on February 15.
The 35-year-old departed India a couple of days before the start of the five-match Test series between India and England. He withdrew from the first two games in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam citing personal reasons. Later, his close friend and legendary South African cricketer AB de Villiers revealed that the Indian batting stalwart is expecting his second child. Prior to the third Test, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the former India captain was ruled out of the remainder of the England series.
