It was a moment of sheer brilliance behind the stumps as Dhruv Jurel pulled off a stunning stumping to dismiss Cameron Green off the bowling of Ravi Bishnoi in Match No. 28 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.
Sensing Green’s intent to charge down the wicket, Ravi Bishnoi cleverly fired in a googly down the leg side. The ball turned sharply, making it extremely difficult for Jurel, who was momentarily blinded by the batter. But what followed was extraordinary.
Jurel reacted in the blink of an eye, diving full stretch to his left to gather the ball cleanly. In one swift motion, he released a one-handed throw that hit the stumps directly. Green, who was well out of his crease, had no chance of getting back.
It was a perfect combination of skill, reflexes, and presence of mind, a truly magical moment on the field. The Aussie batter was dismissed for 27 runs in just 13 balls. It was a much-needed breakthrough for the visiting side.
