Sunrisers Hyderabad have built a reputation over the years as one of the most explosive batting units in the Indian Premier League. Known for their fearless brand of cricket and power-packed top order, SRH have consistently relied on their batters to set the tone, often overwhelming oppositions with aggressive strokeplay and high-scoring encounters.

Heading into IPL 2026, the franchise once again boasts a formidable batting lineup filled with match-winners capable of changing the course of a game within a few overs. With a mix of dangerous international and exciting Indian batters, SRH’s batting firepower will be crucial to their title ambitions this season.

Here are the top three SRH batters to watch out for in IPL 2026

3. Ishan Kishan (Top-order batter)

Ishan Kishan’s life has turned upside down in the last few months. After being nowhere near Team India’s radar for the last 2 years, he made a sensational comeback into the squad on the back of an impressive domestic season. Since his comeback, he has been phenomenal for the Indian team, playing a crucial role in their successful T20 World Cup title defence.

He will be slotted in at number 3 for them, as Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head will most probably continue to open their batting line-up. In the 2025 season, the wicketkeeper batter had scored 354 runs with a strike rate of over 152, including one century. If he manages to continue his fine form, it will be a big plus for him.

2. Heinrich Klaasen (Middle-order batter)

The attacking batsman from South Africa, Heinrich Klaasen, will be an important batter for the Orange Army in the upcoming edition of the marquee tournament. He can take on any bowling attack on his own, especially against the spinners.

Klaasen was also their best batter last season, where he scored 487 runs with an impressive strike rate of 172.70, which included a 37 ball century against Kolkata Knight Riders. What sets him apart is that he has the adaptive game if the wickets fall from the other end.

Travis Head, the Australian left-hander, is coming off a horrific T20 World Cup 2026, where he only scored 141 runs in the whole competition. But the pitches and the playing conditions will be completely different for the IPL. Hence, he will not be carrying that baggage in this tournament.

In the 2025 edition of the IPL, the left-hander had scored 439 runs with a staggering strike rate of 193, which included one century and two fifty-plus outings. He will again form a deadly opening pair along with Travis Head.
