Physical attributes could play an important role, especially in a tournament like the T20 World Cup, as height remains one of the most significant advantages in the shortest format. Tall cricketers often enjoy substantial benefits, especially in a game that is more about power and pace. Their height allows bowlers to release the ball from a higher point, generating bounce that can trouble batters. Even in the upcoming competition, players with a noticeable height are set to excel consistently.

Here are some of the tallest cricketers in the world who will be a part of the T20 World Cup 2026 (In feet)

10. Lockie Ferguson 6’1″

Lockie Ferguson’s pace troubles many batters. The star pacer has recently had an injury scare ahead of the T20 World Cup as he had sustained a calf injury while bowling for Desert Vipers in the ILT20 league fixture against MI Emirates. However, he will look to be back on time and play a crucial hand for the team.

In the recent series against New Zealand, Dube showed his power and range. While he can’t bowl at express pace, his variations have given him good results.

Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh is one of the best cricketers currently. The right-handed batter will be seen opening the innings and will have a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. However, throughout his decade-long career, Marsh has used his height to his benefit, making sure to bat for long innings, have a good reach, and clear the boundary at ease.

7. Josh Hazlewood 6’5″

Experienced pacer Josh Hazelwood will be gearing to trouble the batters, especially with him bowling at a height of 6’5”. Despite him missing the initial phase of the T20 World Cup, Hazelwood is set to return on time and will be leading the pace attack. With Mitchell Starc retired and Pat Cummins ruled out, Hazelwood will have the responsibility to make his four-over county and use his height to bowl those bouncers and generate extra pace.

Tim David’s 6’5” height has always made him a nightmare for bowlers, but his recent form has pushed him from a specialist finisher to a middle-order role for Australia. Traditionally seen as a death-overs hitter, David has shown he can dominate even when walking in early, using his height, his long reach, and a clean swing to clear big boundaries with ease.  His powerplay exploits in 2025, including a record-breaking 37-ball T20I century and knocks against South Africa and India, have brought him immense applause. Batting higher up has allowed David to attack both pace and spin. Heading into the T20 World Cup, he will look to bat in a similar fashion.

5. Cameron Green 6’6″

It is also worth noting that he finished 2025 with 97 T20 wickets, the most by any bowler in the format in a calendar year.

Kyle Jamieson is currently the tallest cricketer from New Zealand and in the T20 World Cup 2026. The right-arm pacer is a part of the BlackCaps team for the competition, and he would be more than happy to use his height to his advantage. The pace bowler with a height of 6’8″, can operate at a goodpace and bowl in hard lengths to trouble the batters. New Zealand skipper, Mitchell Santner, will be aware of his bowler’s advantage and use him at the right phase of the game.

2. Blessing Muzarabani 6’8″

Despite sub-continent pitches helping spinners, Muzarabani’s height has been the X factor for the team. With 93 wickets under his belt from 83 innings, the 29-year-old will enter the competition on the back of decent results in recent bilaterals and warm-up fixtures.

With a height of 6’8″, Jansen’s height has always stood out ever since he made his debut. While his average speed is between 135 to 140 km/h, his height makes a huge difference, giving him extra bounce and extract pace from the wicket. Even while batting, his range increases as he can reach the balls far off from him.
