The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced Bangladesh’s 15-member squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Litton Das has been selected to lead the unit. Bangladesh are placed in Group C and will kickstart their campaign on February 7.

The two will be expected to provide solid starts to the Tigers in their batting innings. There will also be a lot of eyeballs on Saif Hassan, who has been named as Litton’s deputy.
Coming to the bowling department, the spin trio of Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed and Rishad Hossain will be relied upon, considering they will be playing on familiar subcontinental conditions. The pace unit comprises of Mustafizur Rahman, Tanzim Hasim Sakib, Taskin Ahmad and Shoriful Islam.
Coming to Bangladesh‘s performance in the T20 World Cup over the years, they have never managed to make their way to the semi-final stage or beyond. Speaking of the past three installments, they have made it out of the league phase on every occasion.
The Tigers will aim to better their performance and potentially give it their all to go all the way this time around.
