Spin makes headlines as England name XI for Hyderabad Test

India and England are set to commence their first encounter in the five-match Test series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, starting on January 25.

In a recent development, England have unveiled their starting XI for the Hyderabad Test. The team features three spinners and a lone seamer, with Lancashire’s Tom Hartley slated to make his Test debut. Included in the side are Ollie Pope, Ben Foakes, Rehan Ahmed, and Jack Leach, all absent from England’s last Test against Australia at The Oval last summer.

England Men’s XI:

Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes (C), Ben Foakes, Rehan Ahmed, Tom Hartley, Mark Wood, and Jack Leach.
