The Southern Brave (SOB) will want to secure their first win in The Hundred Men’s 2026 when they face MI London (MIL) at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Monday, July 27. The hosts have lost both of their opening two matches of the new season, against Sunrisers Leeds and Welsh Fire. 

The Brave narrowly lost the game against the Sunrisers by five runs at Headingley, despite Tristan Stubbs’ flourish towards the end. SOB are therefore one of the two sides yet to get off the mark in the points standings, along with the London Spirit. 

MI London, on the other hand, had a minor setback against the Welsh Fire in their previous fixture after beating Sunrisers Leeds in the opening game of The Hundred 2026. Sam Curran’s side are currently third in the standings, having accumulated four points from two matches so far this season.

The Rose Bowl offers a balanced wicket, which could lean slightly towards the batting side. With consistent bounce and carry on offer, the batters have the freedom to play their shots and yield good
results. The bowlers, meanwhile, could generate lateral movement with the new ball in the powerplay.
