Red-ball cricket resumes in the island nation, as Sri Lanka (SL) are all set to go up against India (IND) in the first Test of the two-match series in a promising contest at the Galle International Stadium, which gets underway on Saturday, August 15. The series is a crucial part of the ongoing World Test Championship cycle.
Sri Lanka will be playing at home with a view to gaining crucial points in the WTC 2025-27 cycle and climbing up the ladder.
