Shresta Iyer, the younger sister of India T20I captain Shreyas Iyer, has been part of many controversies of late. She has already been appearing on podcasts and talk shows to display full support for her brother, who was recently appointed as the skipper of the T20I team and is already the vice-captain in ODIs. Shresta has allegedly removed her like from an Instagram post, which was in support of her brother.

The viral post surfaced on the social media platform following Shreyas’ terrific 80-run knock against England in the fourth T20I of the ongoing series. The post was captioned, “Shreyas Iyer is playing with 10 snakes”, hinting that all the other teammates in the side are the reason behind India’s losses in the five-match series against England.

Viral claims on the internet suggest that Shresta had liked the reel, but the moment it caught the fire of controversy, she went back to the post only to remove her like from it. Netizens have also claimed that this is one of the very cheap stunts adopted by Shresta, a professional choreographer and dancer with almost five lakh followers on her Instagram, to spread negativity about the other members of the Indian team.
