In an unfortunate turn of events, it seems that the divorce rumours of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis icon, Sania Mirza, who tied the knot on April 12, 2010, have hit the headlines yet again. The star couple welcomed their first child, Izhaan Mirza Malik, on October 30, 2018.
Fans have noticed that Shoaib Malik has made a rather significant change to his Instagram bio. Previously he had clearly mentioned himself as Husband to a superwoman aka Sania Mirza. However, his focus seems to have shifted to more on the parenthood aspect now. Therefore, in his new updated bio of his handle, he has mentioned his being a father as a blessing.

“Father to One True Blessing”, Malik mentioned in his bio alongside other details.
As a result, this has given life to fresh rumours of divorce as fans speculate that all might not be well between the two athletes. Notably, last year in November, the couple remained in the news owing to some reports suggesting that they were contemplating separation. In the middle of the speculations, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza hosted “The Mirza and Malik Show” on the Pakistani OTT platform, Urduflix.
One of the bombastic reports that came out during that time claimed that the couple had begun living separately while co-parenting their son. If the rumours are true and the couple go on to part ways, it will be quite tragic as Shoaib and Sania were once considered the emblem of love. When the rumours surfaced in 2022 for the first time, the concerned couple didn’t open up on the issue. However, some sources alleged that both of them had parted ways after settling some legal matters.
The curious case of Shoaib Malik and Ayesha Omar
Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar did a steamy photoshoot alongside Shoaib Malik back in 2011, which added fuel to new rumours. Some people assumed that Ayesha’s closeness to Shoaib didn’t bode well for the relationship between the latter and Sania.
However, Ayesha dismissed the rumours in an interview stating that she would never be attracted to a married or committed man.
