Can RCB win elusive first title at IPL 2024?

The Bangalore-based franchise has come close to winning the IPL title on several occasions. They reached the finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016 but finished runner-up each time. Last year, they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the playoffs as they finished sixth after the round-robin phase.

RCB will look to break the jinx and win their maiden IPL title this year. Like most of their previous seasons, the Royal Challengers have a strong batting line-up at their disposal with the likes of Faf, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, and Dinesh Karthik in the mix.

However, their performance in the IPL 2024 auction was slammed by the fans as they felt that they couldn’t bolster their bowling attack after releasing proven players like Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood, and Harshal Patel.

Irrespective of how the fans feel about their team’s composition, there is no doubt that they are going to fill the stands when the du Plessis and Co. step onto the field in the hope of winning an elusive IPL title.
