In the ongoing PSL 2023, Shadab continued on his merry run. Azam Khan was dismissed cheaply but Ashraf began from where he left off against the Gladiators. When it looked like the duo will take the United to win, ismissed Shadab. Shadab was disappointed and angry with himself because he knew that there was a big score to be had there and his wicket gave Multan a window to come back into the game. Shadab yelled out a cuss word loudly, which could be heard loudly and clearly on the stump mic. However, a Muhammad Wasim Jr cameo (16 off 7) and Ashraf going berserk in the final over against Mohammad Ilyas helped Islamabad get home with one ball remaining.

As Shadab posted pictures from the thrilling win on Instagram reacted hilariously to his stump mic outburst saying, “Why’d you shout at Ben Stokes when you got out?”

“@jimmyneesham because I was missing him,” Shadab replied. United will next take on Lahore Qalandars in the top-of-the-table clash on Thursday, March 9.
