The Women’s Selection Committee has added Pratika Rawal to India’s squad for the Three-match ODI series against Australia women, which is part of the ongoing multi-format tour of Australia. Ms. Pratika Rawal has completed her rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) and has fully recovered from her ankle injury sustained in October during the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
The young opener had recently shared a video of her intense gym training sessions after being named in India’s squad for the Test against the Australian women’s national cricket team in Perth. Rawal has been recovering from a horrific ankle injury sustained during India’s final league game of the 2025 Women’s World Cup, where she slipped on a wet outfield in Navi Mumbai. The setback forced her to miss the semi-final and final, cutting short what had been a breakout campaign. She had scored 308 runs in six innings at the tournament, including a century against New Zealand.
India’s updated squad for ODI series against Australia:
Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Shafali Verma, Renuka Thakur, Sree Charani, Vaishnavi Sharma, Kranti Gaud, Sneh Rana, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (WK), Uma Chetry (WK), Kashvee Gautam, Amanjot Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harleen Deol, Pratika Rawal
