The National Under 19 Male Championships will be a 10-team tournament contested at 12 venues with the final to be played at the historic WACA Ground. The teams will be divided in two pools.

Ahead of the National U19 Male Championship, fans can also catch Australia’s U19 Men’s squad in action against India U19, with the three one-day matches broadcast live on Kayo Sports and Foxtel, and also streamed via Cricket.com.au and the CA Live app.

  • September 30–October 3 – 1st Youth Test at Ian Healy Oval, Brisbane (10am AEST)
  • October 7–10 – 2nd Youth Test at Great Barrier Reef Arena, Mackay (11am AEDT)

The four-day matches to follow will be streamed live on Cricket Australia’s Youtube Channel.

This year’s tournament holds added significance as the final selection event for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, to be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia in January 2026. Australia will enter the 16-team tournament as the defending champions.

Sonya Thompson, Head of National Development at Cricket Australia, said:

“We’re really excited to bring the National Under 19 Male Championship to Perth this year. This tournament is an important development opportunity. It’s a great chance for young players to represent their states and show what they can do on a national stage.

“We’re proud to support the development of players and grateful to our State and Territory Associations for their continued partnership in nurturing the future of Australian cricket.  Streaming the matches live means cricket fans across the country can follow the action while family and friends can support their players and Teams.”

All matches of the National U19 men’s championship will be live streamed via FrogBox, and available to watch through the PlayCricket app (under the ‘Cricket Australia State Competitions’) and the Cricket Australia YouTube channel.
