In an old video, Australian stars Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa got involved in a hilarious conversation with a taxi driver. The clip of the moment has been going viral all over social media. In the clip, the driver admits to being a huge cricket fan but fails to recognize the two World Cup winners.

Maxwell asked the driver whether he knew anything about cricket, which was when he admitted to being a fan. The driver did recognize both cricketers after some time, which resulted in a hilarious moment.

Australia aims to outwit the West Indies in a multi-format series

Speaking of Australia’s current assignments, the side is gearing up to take on the West Indies in a multi-format series. The side will take on the Windies in two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

The Test matches will be played on January 17 and 25, with the first ODI and first T20I scheduled to begin on February 2 and 9, respectively. The side will be coming into the series after defeating Pakistan in a three-game Test series. The side put in a brilliant performance and managed to sweep Pakistan, not letting them win a single game.

As the series against the West Indies approaches, the Aussies will hope to put in a similar performance and emerge victorious as well. The Windies announced a squad filled with uncapped players for their Test series against Australia, which was a big reason for concern for many pundits.

The same was done by South Africa for their upcoming series against New Zealand, and with sides announcing depleted squads for the Test series, former Australia cricketer Steve Waugh voiced his concerns.

“If I was New Zealand, I wouldn’t even play the series. I don’t know why they’re even playing. Why would you when it shows a lack of respect for New Zealand cricket?” Steve Waugh was quoted as saying by the Times of India.
