India will meet Bangladesh in match 17 of ICC ODI World Cup 2023 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on October 19. India have won three games against Bangladesh in ODI World Cups while losing one. Rohit Sharma is the key player for India as far as Bangladesh game is concerned with centuries to his name in previous two outings.

India with three wins in three games comfortably sit on the second position and look to climb to top with a win against Bangladesh. Bangladesh, on the other hand, have had an awful tournament so far with just one win in three games. The Bangla Tigers will look to bounce back when they face India in their fourth game.

Virat Kohli vs Shakib Al Hasan:

In the same number of innings Shakib has dismissed Kohli on five occasions, having also bowled 58 dots. Kohli’s tendency to get out against left-arm spinners in ODI makes this battle interesting.

Rohit Sharma vs Mustafizur Rahman:

Another key battle is between Rohit Sharma and Mustafizur Rahman. In the nine innings between the two players, Rohit has scored 129 runs at an average of 43 and has struck at 105.73 with 17 boundaries. Meanwhile, Mustafizur has picked Rohit Sharma thrice in 122 balls and has bowled 68 dot balls. With ability to swing both ways, Mustafizur will be key against Rohit Sharma in the big game.

Litton Das vs Mohammed Siraj:

In three innings battled between the two, Mohammed Siraj has picked Litton Das twice in just 22 balls while bowling 14 dot balls. Das has scored 17 runs at an average of 8.50 and has a poor strike rate of 77.27. Siraj’s recent form and ability to move the ball early on will be the key in the contest.
