Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has granted pacer Mustafizur Rahman a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to participate in the entire 2026 edition of The Hundred, paving the way for him to become the first Bangladeshi cricketer to feature in England’s franchise competition.

BCB officials confirmed that Mustafizur has been issued an NOC from July 20 to August 20, covering the full duration of the tournament, which begins on July 21. The left-arm seamer was signed by Birmingham Phoenix for his base price of GBP 100,000 during The Hundred 2026 players’ draft.

The 30-year-old’s participation marks another milestone in his franchise cricket career, having already represented teams in competitions such as the Indian Premier League, Pakistan Super League, Bangladesh Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, and Major League Cricket. His inclusion also makes him the first player from Bangladesh to secure a contract in The Hundred.

Meanwhile, opening batter Parvez Hossain Emon has also received an NOC from the BCB to feature in the 2026 Global Super League (GSL). Emon will join the tournament after Bangladesh complete their three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, with the matches scheduled to be played in Bulawayo on July 15, 17, and 19.

The left-handed batter has been picked by Lahore Qalandars for the GSL after previously representing the franchise in the Pakistan Super League. The Global Super League is set to begin later this month, allowing Emon to transition directly from international duty to franchise cricket.

In another boost for Bangladesh’s overseas representation, pacer Hasan Mahmud will continue his stint with Kent Spitfires in England. Kent Cricket confirmed on Saturday that Hasan will be available for the club’s final three Vitality Blast group-stage fixtures.

Hasan has already impressed during his County Championship appearances this season, claiming 12 wickets in two matches. His standout performance came against Lancashire at Blackpool, where he returned match-winning figures of 6 for 69 to guide Kent to victory.

Following the conclusion of his Vitality Blast commitments, Hasan is expected to link up with Bangladesh’s squad for their two-match Test series against Australia later in August. If selected for the national side, he will return to England after the series to feature in four more County Championship matches for Kent, continuing his development in English conditions.
