MS Dhoni’s jersey spotted in Suresh Raina’s restaurant, pictures go viral

The unbreakable bond between former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina is widely known. Both former Indian players share a deep camaraderie and have played together for many years, whether that’d be for the Indian team or for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

It is also well known that Raina is a huge Dhoni fan. The 36-year-old has often come out to heap praise on the bond he shares with Dhoni and it is clear that the friendship both players share extends well beyond the reach of the cricket ground.

Similarly, in yet another example of how big of an impact, Dhoni has had on Raina’s career. The 42-year-old’s jersey was captured to be hung within a frame in Raina’s new restaurant.

Suresh Raina to feature in US Masters T10 League

Talking about the on-field action, Suresh Raina is all set to take centre stage at the US Masters T10 League. Raina was announced to be participating in the league after the player draft of the competition was recently held in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Raina will be representing California Knights in the tournament. Apart from the 36-year-old, there are many former and current stars who will be taking part in the competition. 2011 World Cup winners, Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir will be featuring for the New Jersey Legends.

Furthermore, the likes of Harbhajan Singh and Chris Gayle will be representing Morrisville Unity. With the player draft for the tournament coming to an end, the various franchises have built a well-balanced squad for the tournament.

The fans would be eagerly waiting to witness some of their favourite players from the former generation take the strike once more and take the fans down memory lane. Notably, the first game of the US Masters T10 League is all set to begin on August 18.
