MLC 2023 Live Streaming: Where to watch the match on TV, online options, and more details

The first edition of the Major League Cricket (MLC) is all set to commence on Friday, July 14, as Texas Super Kings take on LA Knight Riders in the curtain raiser of the star-studded competition. A total of 19 matches will be played which includes 15 group stage matches followed by four fixtures in the knockout rounds.

As many as six teams are participating in the inaugural edition of the league, namely-  Los Angeles Knight Riders, Texas Super Kings, MI New York, Seattle Orcas, San Francisco Unicorns, and Washington Freedom. The competition will be hosted at two venues- the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas and the Church Street Park in Morrisville in North Carolina.

The six participants in the top-tier league will follow a single round robin format wherein each team will play every other team once in the group stage. Following the conclusion of the league phase, the top four teams with the most points will qualify for the elimination rounds. It is worth

mentioning that the MLC 2023 will follow an IPL-style ‘playoff’ format which includes the Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the final.

The Eliminator and Qualifier 1 will be played on July 27. The summit clash of the league will take place on Monday, July 31, at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. MI New York will lock horns with Seattle Orcas in the final group stage match of the event on Wednesday, July 26.
