India spinner Kuldeep Yadav tied knot with longtime partner Vanshika Singh in a grand ceremony in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand on Saturday, March 14. The special occasion comes just days after India created history and lifted the 2026 T20 World Cup on home soil. Kuldeep featured in the squad and won his second consecutive T20 title.

The couple was officially engaged back in June 2025 with the wedding initially set to take place in November. The occasion, however, was postponed to March 2026 due to Kuldeep’s cricketing commitments.

The wedding festivities began on Friday, March 13, with a Haldi and Mehndi function, which was attended by the 31-year-old’s India teammates, including Rinku Singh and long-term spin partner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The wedding ceremony took place a day later at around 11 AM, with the pair looking elated and joyous about starting their new life together.

According to reports, the couple is set to throw a massive reception party on March 17 at the Hotel Centrum in Lucknow with a host of celebrities set to be invited from the world of politics, cricket and business.

Kuldeep and Vanshika have known each other from their childhood, living close to one another in Kanpur. They have been together during his U19 days, well before the left-arm spinner made his India debut.

Vanshika, who went to Melbourne, Australia for her studies, works as an administrative professional at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).

Soon after his reception ceremony, Kuldeep will join the Delhi Capitals (DC) camp ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The spinner will be expected to play a key role and lead his side’s spin attack alongside captain Axar Patel.

The left-hander will commence his fifth season with DC after moving from the Kolkata Knight Riders before the 2022 IPL season. He took 15 wickets last season at an economy rate of 7.07 as DC finished fifth in the standings and just one point behind the playoff spots.
