Virat Kohli’s reaction to the brute force applied by Tim David probably defines everyone’s state after watching the latter bat, especially during the death overs. As David took charge against Lungi Ngidi during RCB versus DC clash in Match 26 of IPL 2026 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, the ball travelled a distance through sheer pace, probably twice the speed at which the ball came under his bat.
Ngidi was taken to cleaners by David, but it also led to Kohli reacting in utter surprise and awe of the kind of strength the Australian batter possesses. This was also the only six hit by David in the encounter, as he fell after smashing 26 off 17 deliveries, being dismissed by DC skipper Axar Patel in the sixteenth over of the first innings. The wicket opened the gates for the visitors, as they restricted RCB to 175-8 after 20 overs.
