Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) opener Virat Kohli finally returned to the scoresheet in the IPL 2026 clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on May 13.
After registering consecutive ducks against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians, Kohli ended his brief lean patch in dramatic fashion. Facing pacer Saurabh Dubey, the former RCB captain received a good-length delivery that swung into him. Kohli calmly worked the ball with soft hands toward square leg and sprinted through for a quick single.
The simple run sparked a massive roar from the Raipur crowd, with fans celebrating the star batter’s return. Kohli acknowledged the cheers with an animated celebration. Despite the two low scores in previous matches, Kohli remains RCB’s leading run-scorer in the IPL 2026 season overall.
Celebrate every run like Virat Kohli 😅
