The Mumbai Indians (MI) have one of the strongest and well-rounded squads heading into the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 2026 season. From superstar Indian players to in-form overseas talent, MI possess a team with little to no weakness, making them one of the favourites for the title this time around.

The 2026 IPL season will see MI return with a very strong bowling lineup which will cause issues for the opposition to score against. Not only have they got an incredible set of specialist bowlers, but some of the all-rounders that the five-time champions have in their squad are also in tremendous form, allowing them to carry a great balance.

Here are 3 Mumbai Indians bowlers to watch out for in IPL 2026:

3. Will Jacks (Spinner)

Will Jacks has rejuvenated himself ahead of the 2026 IPL season. The spin-bowling all-rounder was given a new role as a finisher and someone who can bowl three to four constantly by the new England captain Harry Brook.

This change in Jacks’ role will eventually benefit MI this time around. The Surrey player took nine wickets at the recent 2026 T20 World Cup. His all-round prowess earned him four Player of the Match accolades at the tournament.

Jacks played 13 times for MI during the 2025 season, where he took a total of six wickets. Based on his current wave of good form, it is safe to assume that the right-arm spinner will be one of MI’s key players this season.

2. Trent Boult (Left-arm pacer)

Even at the age of 36, Trent Boult remains a threat with the new ball thanks to his control and swing. The former New Zealand international was MI’s leading wicket-taker during the 2025 IPL season, where he took 22 wickets from 16 matches at a strike rate of 15.72.

Boult plays for a plethora of MI franchises across the world. In the recently concluded SA20, the left-arm pacer picked up eight wickets from 10 games. That included a spell of 3 for 28 against Sunrisers Eastern Cape where he got Quinton de Kock’s wicket on the very first ball of the game.

The former Rajasthan Royals seamer has shown no signs of slowing down in the franchise circuit as he prepares to take the new ball for MI in 2026.

1. Jasprit Bumrah (Right-arm fast bowler)

There cannot be a best MI bowlers list without the inclusion of Jasprit Bumrah. The right-arm fast bowler is not only MI’s best bowler but also their first player altogether heading into the 2026 IPL season.

Bumrah comes into the tournament on the back of a stellar campaign at the T20 World Cup. The 32-year-old was the joint-highest wicket-taker with 14 scalps to his name, including a four-wicket haul in the final to help the Men in Blue secure their second consecutive title in the T20 World Cup and their third overall.

Bumrah took 18 wickets from 12 matches during the 2025 IPL season. However, in an age where scores of 250 plus are easily achievable, it was his economy which stood out the most, that being just 6.67.
