IPL 2026 Memes: Hilarious Reactions from SRH vs LSG, Match 10 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium

The Lucknow Super Giants beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in Match 10 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Being put into bat in their first game, the Sunrisers Hyderabad were blown away, losing three wickets in the powerplay, as LSG ran riot. Mohammed Shami picked up the wickets of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, before Prince Yadav picked up Ishan Kishan’s wicket. They were able to score just 22 runs in the powerplay, and soon found themselves at 26/4 at the start of the eighth over.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen stitched together a brilliant partnership of 116 runs, as they took on the LSG bowlers. Both batters got to half-centuries and pulled the Sunrisers back from the brink. Nitish fell for 56 while Klaasen for 62, as LSG pulled the innings back towards the end. A few more late wickets ensured that despite the platform Klassen and Reddy had set for SRH, they finished on a score of 156/9.

Mohammed Shami bowled brilliantly with the new ball, picking up two wickets, and giving away just nine runs in his four overs. Prince Yadav and Avesh Khan picked up two wickets apiece, while spinners Digvesh Rathi and M Siddharth picked up one wicket each.

In response, the Lucknow Super Giants started their innings strongly, getting to 53 at the end of the powerplay despite the fall of Mitchell Marsh. Aiden Markram scored a brilliant 45, but was dismissed by Shivang Kumar. Rishabh Pant held his end, although motoring along slowly, as he lost partners at the other end. Howeever, he ensured to stay till the end to take LSG over the line with a ball to spare, remaining unbeaten on 68 off just 50 balls.
