The Gujarat Titans (GT) will look to book their seat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 final when they take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday, May 26.

The Shubman Gill-led side has been in scintillating form in IPL 2026. They finished second on the points table, only because their net run rate was lesser than that of the Royal Challengers. In the last seven matches, the Titans have won six.

Here is GT’s strongest predicted XI for Qualifier 1 vs RCB:

Top order: Shubman Gill (C), B Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler (WK)

Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill are both in the race to win the Orange Cap. Sudharsan has possession of it at the moment with 638 runs from 14 innings. However, Gill is a close second, with 616 runs from 13 innings. Jos Buttler has also been in remarkable form, scoring 469 runs in 14 innings.

Middle order: Nishant Sindhu, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tewatia, Jason Holder

The 22-year-old Nishant Sindhu has played five games so far, scoring 38 runs in three innings. He hasn’t been used with the ball yet. It’s good to see the Titans backing an exciting youngster like him. Washington Sundar hasn’t bowled much but he has performed well with the bat. He has 303 runs in 13 innings at an average of 37.88 and a strike rate of 153.81.

Rahul Tewatia has only scored 98 runs in 12 innings. The Titans will be hoping for a big effort from him with the bat if needed in the playoffs. Jason Holder replaced Glenn Phillips in the playing XI midway through the tournament and has made stellar contributions with bat and ball. The star all-rounder has taken 13 wickets in eight games and chipped in with useful cameos with the bat.

Lower order/bowlers: Rashid Khan, Arshad Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Prasidh Krishna (Impact), Mohammed Siraj

Rashid Khan has had a much better season compared to the last one. He has taken 19 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 8.72. Arshad Khan has picked up some important wickets in the seven matches he has played so far. However, he would want to be a bit more economical in the playoffs. Kagiso Rabada has been the most consistent bowler for the Titans. He has the same number of wickets as Purple Cap holder Bhuvneshwar Kumar (24) after playing 14 matches.

Prasidh Krishna is another great wicket-taking weapon for Gill. He has 14 wickets from nine matches at an average of 21.79. Mohammed Siraj is having a fantastic season, picking up 17 wickets in 14 matches. He will have a key role to play with the new ball.

Predicted GT XI for Qualifier 1 vs RCB:

Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill (C), Jos Buttler (WK), Nishant Sindhu, Washington Sundar, Jason Holder, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Arshad Khan, Mohammed Siraj.

Impact Player: Prasidh Krishna
