Gujarat Titans will be aiming to bounce back and regain their winning rhythm as they take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 34 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
GT have had a mixed run in the tournament so far, showing flashes of brilliance but struggling with consistency. Led by Shubman Gill, the side has largely depended on its top-order for runs, while the middle-order has yet to deliver collectively. After a heavy defeat in their previous outing, Gujarat will be keen to regroup quickly and get their campaign back on track as the race for the playoffs intensifies.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be looking to capitalise on home advantage and continue their push up the points table. With a strong batting lineup and the familiarity of conditions at the Chinnaswamy, RCB will aim to put pressure on the visitors early and strengthen their position in the standings.
Here’s GT’s predicted Playing XI vs RCB in Match 34, IPL 2026
Top-order: Shubman Gill (C), Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler (wk)

This top-order of Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler remains the biggest strength of GT. Captain Gill is leading his side from the front with the bat, scoring 265 runs in just five innings. Sai Sudharsan will continue to open with him despite not being in great form.
Jos Buttler adds invaluable experience at the number 3 position. He has been tremendous for them this season, scoring 206 runs so far.
Middle-order: Washington Sundar, Jason Holder, Shahrukh Khan

Their middle-order remains GT’s biggest concern. Washington Sundar is batting well in the middle overs, but has not found any support at all from the other end. Glenn Phillips failed to deliver in their first few matches, so they might go with the experience of Jason Holder in this important clash. Shahrukh Khan will need to deliver with his place in the side already under scrutiny.
Bowlers: Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Ashok Sharma, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj

This bowling attack of GT remains one of the well-rounded bowling line-ups of the tournament. Kagiso Rabada leads the attack with his raw pace and accuracy. Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna give Rabada a great support with their wicket-taking ability.
Prasidh has picked up 12 wickets so far, and is on the second spot in the Purple cap list. Ashok Sharma has been a revelation for GT, whereas Rashid Khan seems to have gotten his rhythm back.
