The West Indian star scored 109 runs while the next best was 30 by Angkrish Raghuvanshi. For the visiting side, Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Sen picked two wickets apiece as Ravi Ashwin endured yet another wicketless outing with the ball.

In the second innings, the onus was on RR to put up a show with bat, as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler opened during the chase.
