Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 60 of the 17th edition of the IPL 2024 on Saturday, May 5, 2024, at the Eden Gardens Stadium, in Kolkata. In the ongoing tournament, the Knight Riders have won eight matches and lost three matches so far. They are currently first in the points table, Thus, the Knight Riders would like to continue their winning momentum.

On the other hand, the Indians have started the season slowly as Indians have won four matches and lost eight matches so far. They are out of the race for playoffs. They are currently the eighth in the points table, Thus, the Indians also would like to continue their winning momentum. Indians would like to take revenge for the last match of these two teams held at Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai.

Speaking about the last game of the Knight Riders, Sunil Narine 81(39) played a magnificent innings which helped them post a huge total of 235. Knight Riders also got good support from other batters, as a result, they gave a huge target to Lucknow Super Giants in the previous match.

Speaking of the bowling of Knight Riders, Harshit Rana (3.1-0-24-3) who came back after missing the previous game because of a ban, bowled beautifully, which helped Knight Riders to restrict Super Giants to just 137 and won the game by a huge margin of 98 runs. Varun Chakravarthy (3-0-30-3) also bowled superbly and gave excellent support to Harshit Rana. Knight Riders also got good support from all other bowlers, as a result of which, they defended total. Knight Riders will be hoping all these will continue their good form.

Speaking about the last game of the Indians, Suryakumar Yadav 102*(51) played a magnificent innings and scored his second ton in IPL, helping Indians to chase the par total of 174 within 18 overs. Tilak Varma 37*(32) played superb anchoring role and gave excellent support to Suryakumar. Speaking of the bowling of Indians, Jasprit Bumrah (4-0-23-1) was economical as always and bowled beautifully and continued his superb form in the ongoing tournament. Piyush Chawla (4-0-33-3) and Skipper Hardik Pandya (4-0-31-1) also bowled superbly and gave excellent support to Jasprit Bumrah. Indians also got good support from all other bowlers, as a result of which, they restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to a decent total. Indians will be hoping all these to continue their good form.
