IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants rising pacer Mayank Yadav marred by injury again, walks off the field

The coveted Indian Premier League 2024 edition (IPL 2024) has already been plagued with several injury concerns in the participating teams. In game 48 of the ongoing cricket carnival, Lucknow Super Giants took on Mumbai Indians, where they were marred with yet another injury scare. The new pace sensation Mayank Yadav for the second time has faced the wrath of producing some mind-boggling pace.

The incident happened in the penultimate over of MI’s batting in the first innings. In the 19th over, after bowling the first delivery where the pacer dismissed Mohammad Nabi, and thereafter started to walk off the field. Notably, Yadav has already missed five matches of the ongoing IPL 2024 after sustaining a side strain injury. Now only time will whether his injury has resurfaced or was it just a niggle.
