Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) locked horns in the 16th match of IPL 2024 at Dr Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. After winning the toss, KKR decided to bat first.
Power-hitter Sunil Narine demolished the bowling attack of Delhi Capitals and smashed 85 off 39 balls. Power hitters Andre Russell (41), Rinku Singh (26) and youngster Angkrish Raghuvanshi (54) showed off their skills against DC bowlers to help KKR post a massive total, but captain Shreyas Iyer struggled for Kolkata. Kolkata finished with 272-7 in 20 overs, but it took a pinpoint yorker from Ishant Sharma to stop Russellmania from going bonkers in the last over. KKR have amassed the second-highest total in IPL history thanks to Russell and Rinku.

IPL 2024 Points Table:
After their huge margin win of 106 runs against Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders moved up to the top of the points table of IPL 2024. While Delhi Capitals crawl down to the 9th position from 7th.

Most Wickets in IPL 2024:
Khaleel Ahmed reached the most wickets table after the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Ahmed dismissed KKR’s skipper Shreyas Iyer for just 18 runs. CSK’s Mustafizur Rahman remains unbeaten on top of the table in IPL 2024 so far.
