India A sealed a well-earned victory, though they were pushed to work hard for the result at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Monday, February 2. N. The leg-spinner had a splendid outing with the ball, as he clinched a three-wicket haul, giving away 37 runs in his four overs. His victims included USA captain and wicketkeeper Monank Patel, Millind Kumar, and Jasdeep Singh.

This spirited performance against a strong India A side will give USA a big morale boost ahead of the T20 World Cup. They will now face Namibia in the second practice match ahead of the marquee event. They are scheduled to face India in their opening encounter on February 7 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
