‘Hopefully we can see some more of those fireworks’ – Steve Smith backs Yuvraj Samra ahead of ETPL semi-final

Yuvraj Samra, the 19-year-old opener, has been an important part of Amsterdam’s batting unit, bringing an aggressive approach and quick scoring ability to the team’s innings.

“Samra’s extremely talented and hits the ball hard. He started the tournament off really well for us in Amsterdam, and he’s 19, so he’s got plenty of time left in the game. He’s obviously really aggressive and goes after it, and when he gets going, he’s tricky to stop. So hopefully we can see some more of those fireworks in the finals,” Smith said to ETPL.

Belfast Wolves have navigated an unpredictable campaign marked by rain-affected games and late setbacks. The team has relied heavily on captain Glenn Maxwell and David Miller for crucial contributions.
