Team India have made a sensational comeback in their ongoing T20I series against the West Indies. Led by Hardik Pandya, the side lost the first two games of the series, and they were reeling behind, but the visitors clawed back into the series by winning the third and fourth games.

Taking on the Windies in Florida for the fourth game, India put forth a good display with the ball. The side restricted the Windies to a total of 178 runs in the first innings. The Indian bowling attack did a commendable job as Arshdeep Singh starred with the ball for Team India. During his four-over bowling spell, Arshdeep took a three-wicket haul and conceded 38 runs in the process.

In the same vein, the former Indian cricketer RP Singh came forward to heap praise on Arshdeep Singh’s performance in the fourth T20I of the ongoing series. Singh opined that the youngster has learnt the art of bowling according to the playing conditions by adapting to it very quickly.

“Arshdeep has a speciality. I feel while playing he has learned how to bowl based on the conditions. The options or weapons you have in your arsenal – he bowls a good yorker, he also bowls a good knuckle slower ball as well,” RP Singh said during a discussion on JioCinema.

“Bowling that ball is slightly tough because it won’t fall at the right length unless you hit the pitch. Bowling the knuckleball at the right length is in itself a challenge. So his skill has gone up and his game-reading sense was also good,” Singh stated.

India defeated West Indies in the fourth T20I to level the series

Speaking of the fourth T20I between the West Indies and India, as the Hardik Pandya-led side aimed to chase down a target of 179 runs in the second innings, the brilliant performances of openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill helped the side register a win.

Gill scored 77 runs, whereas Jaiswal amassed 84* runs in 51 deliveries to propel India to a nine-wicket victory. With both sides having won two games each in the series, it would be all to play for in the fifth and final T20I on Sunday, August 13.
