The player draft for the upcoming US Masters T10 League was recently held in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday, July 8. The six teams competing in the tournament– Atlanta Fire, California Knights, Morrisville Unity, New Jersey Legends, New York Warriors, and Texas Chargers—took part in the player draft and put together specific lineups of sensational players from all across the globe.

New Jersey Legends grabbed all the headlines during the draft as they captured the services of several 2011 World Cup-winning stars. The likes of Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, and Yusuf Pathan will be representing the side in the tournament.

It is worth noting that the inaugural season of the US Masters T10 League is all set to begin on August 18th, with the summit clash scheduled to be held on August 27. Apart from the World Cup winning legends, New Jersey also captured the services of several stars like Liam Plunkett, Albie Morkel, Naman Ojha, Jesse Ryder, Chris Barnwell, Stuart Binny, RP Singh, Bipul Sharma, Craig Mcmillan, Tim Ambrose, Rajesh Bishnoi, Abhimanyu Mithun, and Monty Panesar.

With many current and former players all set to compete in the tournament, the first season of the league is expected to be a cracking affair as fans wait to witness some of their favourite stars take centre stage and face off against one another.

Apart from New Jersey Legends, Atlanta Fire captured the services of Robin Uthappa, David Hussey, and many more players to lead the charge for them. California Knights roped in the likes of Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, and Mohammad Kaif. With Chris Gayle and Harbhajan Singh representing Morrisville Unity, many other players will be taking part in the tournament as well.

Furthermore, with the player draft for the T10 league finished, all six teams have built well-balanced squads for the tournament, and it could be interesting to see which side comes out on top when the proceedings are over. Shaji-Ul-Mulk, Chairman of T Ten Sports Management, was of a similar opinion as well.

“It’s fantastic to see that all six teams have constructed well-balanced sides for the first season of the US Masters T10 League. With several former international stars in all line-ups, the competition will certainly be a treat to watch for all cricket fans around the world,” Shaji-Ul- Mulk was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.
