England U19s name 15-player squad for Pakistan Youth ODI series

England Men U19s have selected a 15-player group to take on Pakistan Men U19s across a four-match Youth ODI series, with the opening fixture set for September 9 at Arundel Castle Cricket Club. Surrey’s Ralphie Albert, who has been in outstanding form, will lead the side throughout all four matches, which conclude on September 16.

Nine players in the squad were part of the England U19 Test side that beat Pakistan at Arundel the previous week. Albert and Jack Nelson were central to that victory, with the spin pair sharing all 10 wickets in the fourth innings to seal the result. Wicketkeeper Joe Moores has been named for the opening Youth ODI only, after which he will link up with the England Lions.

With regular Head Coach Mike Yardy committed to England Men’s third Rothesay Test against Pakistan, Neil Killeen takes charge of the U19 side for this series. Former England white-ball player Sam Billings has also been brought into the coaching setup for the Youth ODIs.

Farhan Yousaf captains the Pakistan U19 touring party, with Shahid Anwar serving as head coach for the visit. Farhan guided Pakistan to the ACC U19 Asia Cup title in December 2025, which underlines the quality England’s young side will face across the four matches. Pakistan’s 15-player touring squad includes Abdul Qadir, Abdul Subhan, Ahmad Hussain, Aliyan Salman, Hamza Zahoor, Hasnain Abbas Dar, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal, Mohammad Sayyam, Mohammad Huzaifa, Niqab Shafiq, Rizwanullah, Umar Zaib and Usman Khan alongside their captain.
