Jindal apologised to the fans, reflecting on how the team went down from being the favourites in the first half of the season to not qualifying for for the playoffs. Jindal concluded by saying the team will concentrate on their final league game and focus on the positives from this year.

“Sorry to all @DelhiCapitals fans – like you i too am reeling from the second half of the season. What started so well ended extremely poorly. There are positives to take from this campaign but for now all focus on the next game which we need to win.
