The second T20I of the ongoing three-match series between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday, July 22. Notably, the hosts dominated the series-opener, winning by seven wickets.

Pakistan lost too many wickets within the powerplay itself. Fakhar Zaman‘s 44 off 34 was the sole major contributor for the visitors. While Taskin Ahmed picked up three wickets for 22 runs in 3.3 overs, the star of the show was Mustafizur Rahman, whose figures read 2/6 in four overs.

Parvez Hossain Emon (56* off 39) remained unbeaten till the end as Bangladesh cruised to a seven-wicket win with 27 deliveries to spare. Salman Mirza (2/23 in 3.3 overs) and Abbas Afridi (1/16 in two overs) were the only wicket-takers for the Salman Ali Agha-led team.
