The Super Four phase of the Asia Cup 2025 commenced on Saturday, September 20, making it the start of the tournament’s business end. From Group A, India and Pakistan have qualified, while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh sealed their spots from Group B. The format sees each of the four teams face one another once in a round-robin setup. The top two teams at the end of six matches will qualify for the final on September 28 in Dubai. Points from the group stage will not be carried forward, with all four teams beginning with a clean slate.

The Super Four fixtures include Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh (Sep 20), India vs Pakistan (Sep 21), Pakistan vs Sri Lanka (Sep 23), India vs Bangladesh (Sep 24), Pakistan vs Bangladesh (Sep 25), and India vs Sri Lanka (Sep 26). Notably, all these teams have some of the fittest cricketers who have played a big role in helping their teams come till this stage.

4. Litton Das: Bangladesh

Bangladesh skipper Litton Das is one of the most stylish batters but also one of the fittest in the team. Unlike many cricketers who struggle with recurring injuries, Litton has been among the less injury-prone players in the squad.

His consistency in staying available across formats is a result of the hours he puts into training. Litton follows a strict routine that includes strength work, running sessions, and drills, ensuring he remains sharp behind the stumps and while batting.

His dedication to fitness has allowed him to balance the dual responsibilities of wicketkeeping and batting without much fatigue. While others in the team have missed games due to injuries, the batter’s durability has been a big plus for Bangladesh.

3. Pathum Nissanka: Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s opening batter Pathum Nissanka’s dominance in international cricket is a reflection of his fitness. From a young age, Nissanka has had a strong work ethic that has made him the cricketer he is today. While he has suffered from numerous back injuries, he continues to put in long hours of training and strength-building to stay match-ready.

The three-format player can play long innings in Tests and also shift gears in T20s. After being dropped from ODIs in 2021, he doubled his training, sometimes batting three to four times a day, focusing on shot improvement and power-hitting. He also extended his time in the gym and is the fittest cricketer on his team.

2. Salman Agha: Pakistan

Pakistan skipper Salman Agha is one of the fittest cricketers in the current Pakistan team. While Pakistan has historically not been known for producing world-class fielders, there have been exceptions, and Salman is certainly one. His reflexes, safe pair of hands, and quick movements make him a crucial figure on the field.

Unlike the quintessential modern-day cricketer with abs or a bulky build, Salman Agha does not rely on appearance to showcase his fitness. Instead, he demonstrates it on the field. His cricket makes him one of the followed cricketers from Pakistan.

1. Hardik Pandya: India

After Virat Kohli, one cricketer who has consistently inspired with his fitness dedication is Hardik Pandya. While most players in the Indian team are fit, Pandya’s discipline and routine have made him a role model for many. His determination off the field reflects directly in his brilliance on the field.

Hardik follows a strict fitness regime that includes weight training, strength circuits, yoga, and meditation, ensuring both physical and mental balance. His diet includes protein-rich smoothies, balanced Indian meals, and recovery-focused nutrition. Even after suffering a major ankle injury in 2023, Pandya bounced back stronger ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
