India and Pakistan are all set to square off in the final of Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 28. The arch-rivals will meet in Dubai for the third time in the ongoing installment on Sunday, September 28.

The previous two meetings between the teams ended in Men in Blue’s victories as they won by seven wickets (group-stage) and six wickets (Super Four). However, there is a lot riding on the summit clash for both the teams for both on-field and off-field reasons, which makes the contest an eagerly-awaited one.

Asia Cup 2025 Final: Weather report

No clash in this edition has been interrupted by inclement weather. It is highly unlikely that rain intervenes in Dubai. There is no probability of precipitation occurring throughout the day and the conditions are forecasted to be “clear, very warm and humid”, as per AccuWeather during the night.

What will happen if Asia Cup 2025 final gets washed out?

A reserve day on Monday, September 29 has been kept for the final in case the match is not able to conclude due to weather-related or other reasons. If in case the final is not completed on the reserve day teither, then the trophy will be shared as per the regulations set forward by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). No Asia Cup trophy has been shared by teams so far in its storied history.

Asia Cup 2025 Final: Pitch Report

Throughout the tournament, the decks in Dubai have been on the slower side as compared to the pitches in Abu Dhabi. The only match in which the Dubai track looked good for batting was the dead rubber between India and Sri Lanka on Friday. Both sides scored over 200 runs in their respective innings to tie the clash before India emerged winners in the Super Over.
