In the 68th game of the Indian Premier League season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are going to face a tough test in the form of Chennai Super Kings. It is the final league game of the season for both the teams and it is certainly all to play for tomorrow at the M.Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. 

Chennai Super Kings have the upper hand in the games against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Even at their home, they hold a slight edge which should give them some confidence ahead of the encounter. A win for the Chennai Super Kings would make them the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs. However, a win by 18 runs or chasing the total down in 18.1 overs will certainly seal the deal for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru themselves.

3. Karn Sharma

The leg-spinner is one of the few players in the Indian Premier League history who has played for Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings. He was able to leave a mark at all of the three franchises and was certainly able to contribute to his side whenever required.

Karn Sharma was picked up by the Chennai Super Kings during the 2018 auctions and even though he wasn’t able to cement his place in the team. He stayed with the team for four years before making the switch to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the 2022 auctions. He has contributed significantly whenever called upon and has turned out to be a great asset for the side on wickets that offer assistance to spin.

2. Shivam Dube

One of the upcoming players for Team India, who has made a name for himself with some amazing performances in the recent editions of the Indian Premier League. He will soon be representing India during the T20 World Cup in the United States and West Indies later this month. The batting all-rounder made his IPL debut during the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League but did not have a huge impact. 

He stayed with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for two years before making the switch to Rajasthan Royals. A year later, Chennai Super Kings purchased the player and has since then become one of the most consistent players of the franchise. It is his performances with the Chennai Super Kings that has sealed him a spot in the World Cup team.

Amongst the most loved overseas players in India, Faf du Plessis has registered an icon status over the years. He has been a consistent performer for his franchises and has piled on the runs for the team over the years in the tournament. The batter was able to make his debut in the competition during the 2012 edition.

The former South African captain played seven seasons with the Chennai Super Kings and left as a legend from Chennai. The batter was acquired to lead the Royal Challenger Bengaluru and has had three terrific seasons with the franchise so far. The opener has developed a great bond with the fans as well as his teammates such as Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell.
