भारत-पाकिस्तान जंग का असर आईपीएल पर भी पड़ गया है और बीसीसीआई ने आईपीएल 2025 को एक सप्ताह के लिए सस्पेंड कर दिया है। बीसीसीआई ने इस फैसले के पीछे सुरक्षा कारणों का हवाला दिया है। आईपीएल के सस्पेंड होने के संकेत धर्मशाला में ही मिल गए थे। जब पंजाब किंग्स और दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के बीच मैच रद्द हुआ। उसके बाद ही माना जा रहा था कि बीसीसीआई जरूर आईपीएल को लेकर कोई बड़ा फैसला लेगा।

बीसीसीआई ने इस बात की पुष्टि की है कि आईपीएल 2025 को एक हफ्ते के लिए सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। बता दें कि, इस टूर्नामेंट के कई दमदार मुकाबले हो चुके थे और कुछ होने बाकी थे। अब यह देखना बेहद जरूरी होगा कि बचे हुए मैच खेले जाएंगे या नही? और खेले जाएंगे तो कब और कहां होंगे?
