In the 34th match of the PSL 2026, Rawalpindi Pindiz (RAP) will take on Islamabad United (ISL). Rawalpindi Pindiz’s struggle continued this season, having suffered their eighth consecutive defeat. In their last match, they were beaten by 6 wickets by Multan Sultans. Rawalpindi Pindiz posted a total of 166, while Multan chased down the target in 18.4 overs. 

For Pindiz, Daryl Mitchell was the top scorer with 58 off 46 deliveries, and Dian Forrester chipped in with 37 runs. Rawalpindi’s bowling attack, however, struggled to leave a mark. Asif Afridi is the standout performer, claiming two wickets. Razaullah and Saad Masood took one wicket each.

On the other hand, Islamabad United performed well in the last match, as they won by eight wickets against Karachi Kings. Batting first, Karachi posted a competitive total of 150 runs, but Islamabad chased it comfortably in 16 overs. Devon Conway provided a solid foundation at the top with a well-compiled 53, while Sameer Minhas also played well and added 58 runs to strengthen the innings. With the ball, Richard  Gleeson was the most effective, picking up 2 wickets for just 22 runs in his four overs. Additionally, Shadab Khan also performed well with the ball and took two wickets.

The pitch at the National Stadium in Karachi is typically known to favour batters, offering good conditions for aggressive stroke play and high-scoring matches. As the game progresses, the surface gradually begins to assist spin bowlers. Moreover, the presence of dew in evening matches often makes chasing a more favourable option.
