In the 30th match of the IPL 2026,  Gujarat Titans (GT) will face Mumbai Indians (MI). Mumbai Indians started their season with a strong victory over KKR, but their fortunes have declined since, with four consecutive losses leaving them ninth on the table with two points. In the  match, they batted first and posted a total of 195 runs in 20 overs. Quinton de Kock smashed a brilliant hundred but their bowling unit failed to defend the target and Punjab chased down the target in just 16.3 overs. Rohit Sharma missed the last game and is expected to sit out again as he is still recovering from injury

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans have recovered after early defeats to Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, winning their next three games against Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, and Kolkata Knight Riders and currently stand in sixth position on the points table with six points.

Gujarat won their last match by five wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders at Ahmedabad, successfully chasing a target of 181 runs. Shubman Gill was the standout performer for Titans, scoring a match-winning 86 runs off 50 balls.
