Dubai Dare Devils will be battling it out against DCC Starlets in the 13th match of the ICCA Arabian Cricket League 2024 at the ICCA Academy in Dubai on January 27. Dubai Dare Devils are at the top of the points table, having won both their games. DCC Starlets are yet to start their journey this season and this would be their inaugural game of the season.

Dubai Dare Devils CC last fought with Suncorp, where Dubai Dare Devils won the toss and elected to bat. Rahul Soni played a marvelous knock of 108 runs, which was followed by Hari Prasanth, who scored 64 runs. Dubai Dare Devils scored 219 runs for the loss of four wickets. When Suncorp came to bat, Noorul Aslam scored the highest runs (40), which was followed by Arjun Gadoya, who scored 26 runs. Suncorp failed to complete their chase and scored just 144 runs for the loss of six wickets, and Dubai Dare Devils won the match by 75 runs.

DCC Starlets faced HSBC in their last encounter in the previous season, where DCC Starlets won the toss and elected to bat. Mohammad Aniq scored the highest runs (47), followed by Rameez Shahzad, who hit 30 runs. DCC Starlets scored 158 runs for the loss of ten wickets. When HSBC came to bat, it was a total disaster. Jude Alahakoon scored the highest runs (15), which was followed by Vihar Buch, who scored six runs. HSBC failed to complete their chase, and DCC Starlets won the match by 109 runs.

The track at ICCA Academy is a batting pitch, meaning it is more favourable to the batters, than to the bowlers. Pace bowlers are expected to do well on this ground with some assistance offered from the pitch. Batters can look to play their shots after they are set. Teams prefer to chase first after winning the toss, with the average first innings score being 175.
