On the other hand, Punjab Kings delivered a strong performance in their previous game, securing a 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants. Batting first, Punjab posted a massive total of 255 runs, restricting Lucknow to 200 in response. Their top order fired impressively, with Cooper Connolly scoring 87 and Priyansh Arya playing a match-winning innings of 93. In the bowling department, Marco Jansen led the attack with figures of 2 for 37, while Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, and Vijaykumar Vyshak picked up one wicket each.
