The second stage of Women’s Premier League matches is set to begin as the race to reach the playoffs begins. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru takes on Gujarat Giants in a key clash in front of their home fans. It is a huge encounter for Smriti Mandhana and her team who have lost their last two matches.
Gujarat Giants on the other hand are bottom of the table with just one win from four games. The Giants need a win in a bid to keep their tournament hopes alive. Gujarat began the season with a loss to RCB before beating UP Warriorz, their next two games saw them lose to Mumbai and Delhi in what were one-sided encounters.
Here are the top 3 bowlers to watch out for from RCB W vs GG- W match in WPL 2025:
3. Kashvee Gautam

Gujarat Giants medium pacer Kashvee Gautam has been the best bowler for her side in what has been a disappointing first half of the season. Gautam began the tournament going wicketless in the first match vs RCB. This was followed by her one wicket in the sole win of the season against UP Warriorz. The next two games have seen the 21-year-old two wickets apiece to take her tally to five wickets for the season so far. Kashvee Gautam will hope to give her side a good start with the ball and hopefully beat RCB.
2. Georgia Wareham

Australian leg-spinner Georgia Wareham showed the world why she is rated highly as one of the best spinners in the world. Wareham has picked seven wickets so far from four games for RCB. The 26-year-old began the season being smashed for 50 runs and taking just a single wicket in the first match. In the games against Delhi and Mumbai, the Aussie had figures of 3/25 and 3/21 before going wicketless against UP. So far Wareham has been the best bowler for RCB and will look to continue her form with the ball.
1. Renuka Singh Thakur

Just like her teammate Georgia Wareham, Indian pace ace Renuka Singh Thakur has been one of the players for her side. The 28-year-old has swung the ball in the air and claimed seven wickets so far. Renuka who is known for her wicket-taking abilities with the new ball grabbed 2/25 in the season opener against Gujarat. This was followed by her three-wicket haul versus Delhi in the second match. After going wicketless against Mumbai Indians, Renuka Singh Thakur came back to form with 2/36 vs UP in the fourth game of the season.
