WPL 2025: Predicting top 3 batters from RCB-W vs GG-W clash

3. Ashleigh Gardner

Australian star and Gujarat Giants skipper Ashleigh Gardener has been the best batter for her side so far. The 27-year-old has scored 144 runs so far from the first four matches with an average of 48. Gardener began the season with her knock of 79 not out against RCB and followed it up with match-winning 52 versus UP. The last two games have seen Gardener score just 13 runs and will be hoping to turn the season around with the bat. 

2. Smriti Mandhana 

Star Indian batter and RCB’s captain Smriti Mandhana will be keen to prove her critics wrong in the second phase of matches in WPL 2025. The 28-year-old has scored 122 runs from four games with an average of 30.5 with just one fifty. Mandhana scored 81 against Delhi Capitals to help RCB win their second match of the season. The rest of three matches have produced just 41 runs and RCB fans will hope their skipper can lead the way with the bat and end their losing run.  

1. Elyse Perry

The best player of WPL 2025 has been none other than Australian star Elsye Perry. The 34-year-old has scored three fifties from four games and is the leading batter of the season so far. Perry began with her knock of 57 against Gujarat before scoring seven not out against Delhi. In the next two matches, Perry scored 81 vs Mumbai Indians and 90 not out versus UP to take her season tally to 235 runs with an average of 117.5. Many fans were surprised when Perry didn’t bat in the super-over in the previous match. If RCB have to successfully defend their title then they must hope that Perry can keep up her form with the bat shown so far.
