WI vs PAK 2025: Predicting West Indies XI for 3rd T20I

The three-match T20I series between Pakistan and the West Indies is levelled at 1-1. The West Indies produced a spectacular comeback by winning the second match by two wickets at the same venue after Pakistan won the first one by 14 runs at Lauderhill.

The T20I series will be decided by the third game in Tarouba. In an effort to find consistency during this rebuilding phase, the West Indies, captained by Shai Hope, are still experimenting with their team, starting a mix of young players and seasoned veterans. Their unexpected victory in the second game will spur them on to give it their all in the series finale.

Top Order:

Alick Athanaze

Alick Athanaze could not do much in the only game he played, and he is expected to be replaced by Johnson Charles, who made 35 runs in the one game he played. Jewel Andrew and Shai Hope will make up the rest of the top order. Andrew has 47 runs in two games, while Hope would look to play a captain’s knock in the deciding game.

Middle Order:

Sherfane Rutherford

Sherfane Rutherford will hope for more runs and responsibility in the third T20I, as he has only 20 runs in the rwo games so far. Roston Chase and Romario Shepherd will form the rest of the middle order. Chase has 21 runs to his name and one wicket, while Shepherd has one wicket to his name as well.

Lower Order:

Jason Holder

Jason Holder, the hero of West Indies’ win in the second game, has 46 runs to his name afrer his unbeaten 30 in the previous game. He has also taken five wickets with the best of 4/19 and an economy of 6.75. On the other hand, Keacy Carty is yet to do much but has lots of promise.

Shamar Joseph

Gudakesh scored 28 in the West Indies’ win recently. He also has taken two wickets with his spin. Shamar Joseph has four wickets in two games with a best of 3/30. Akeal Hosein is a key component of Windies bowling and has two wickets at an economy of 5.87.
